Catherine Plaisance exhibited his photographic, drawing and videographic work in Canada, Poland and United-States. She has take part, in 2007, of the Ruburbs & Other Spaces In Between : Land Use and Environmentalism exhibition at the Athens Institute for Contemporary Art in Georgia, USA. She received the Cornelius-Krieghoff price in 2007 at the Quebec city art competition. She presented his photographic work in duo with Christian Barré at the (im)mortal love Supermarket sztuki biennial of Warsaw.

She is a founder of the performance collective Les Fermières Obsédées who works with staged metaphoric settings between several disciplines. Since 2001, the performances of the F.O. were seen in Canada, Australia, France, North Irland, Wales and Poland. She is also part of the Folie/Culture Programming Committee. She is a recipient of many grants from Quebec and Canada Council for Art. She lives and work in Quebec city, Canada.
